As many of you are aware, Cork County Council, in conjunction with Research and Dig and Acadmah Fódhla, are undertaking a conservation, management and interpretation plan to look at the importance of the Múscraí Gaeltacht and how its heritage can be safeguarded and promoted long into the future. The project, which has had extensive consultation to date has two phases: Phase I which looks at the area's heritage and Phase II which looks at the actions that need to be implemented for the benefit of this heritage. Phase II of the document is nearing completion and in the next few weeks there will be two public consultation meetings to discuss these important elements (details to be provided once confirmed). The Plan to date is available for all to view by clicking here and any and all comments would be most welcome by firstname.lastname@example.org.
