Children’s Drawing workshop for 9–12-year-olds

Time: 10am to 11:30am

Love drawing? Come join us!

As part of Cruinniú na nÓg, Fermoy Library is hosting a free drawing workshop just for 9–12-year-olds. You’ll get to draw, doodle, and create your own artwork while learning some cool new drawing tips along the way.

No experience needed – just bring your imagination! All materials are provided.

Places are limited, so ask an adult to email the library fermorylibrary@corkcoco.ie to book your spot.

 

Saturday 6th June

Children’s Art Workshop: Create a Lapwing using recycled materials for 9–12-year-olds

Time: 2:30pm to 4pm

Join us for a creative workshop where you’ll make your very own Lapwing bird using recycled materials. The Lapwing, Ireland’s national bird, is known for its cool feather crest and colourful wings—perfect for an art project!

During the workshop, you’ll learn how to spot a Lapwing in the wild and how to build one using simple materials you can find at home.

Participants are encouraged to bring materials for the workshop including cardboard, Cereal boxes, kitchen roll card tubes, and newspaper. All other materials will be provided. 

This workshop is for children aged from 9 to 11 years old at 2.30 June 6th in Fermoy Library, County Cork. To book your place please email fermoylibrary@corkcoco.ie or call in to the branch
