Why not pop into the Repair Café at Fermoy Library. Heritage Week Exhibition & Local History Talk Fermoy: Through its Buildings Exhibition 15th - 30th August (see sketch) Local History Talk: Tuesday 18th August at 2pm This Heritage Week event presents a curated exhibition of historic sketches of Fermoy’s buildings alongside a collection of early and mid‑20th‑century street photographs. The display highlights the architectural development of the town and documents changes in its urban landscape over time. A corresponding talk by a local historian Christy Roche will provide an overview of Fermoy’s built heritage, drawing attention to key structures and streetscapes. The session will place the exhibited material in context, offering attendees a concise introduction to the town’s historical layout and architectural evolution. All Welcome.
