The scenic off-road route will be the same as previous years and start at the Old Railway Line, by Pairc Uí Chaoimh, travel back along by the water before finishing up near Blackrock Castle. At the finish line participants will be greeted with light refreshments, and an ice cream van. There also will also be face-painting for our younger participants. Bus Éireann have kindly come on board to provide a free shuttle bus to escort participants from the finish line back to their cars.
All monies raised at this event will go towards the funding of transportation and vehicle leasing costs which transport users of the CAA service from their homes to the provided service centres and out on community integration activities and daytrips.
Participants are being encouraged to register online at www.corkautism.ie to book their place. Entry fee is €15 for adults, €5 for children under 12 and FREE with a sponsorship card which can be requested by calling Carol on 021 453 3642 or by emailing c.walsh@corkautism.ie. Team and group registrations are also welcomed.
Runners and walkers of all abilities and ages are more than welcome to join us on the day.
