Interactive - learning seminar: “Exploring Sanctuary models of practice in mental health services and how this can contribute to Cork becoming a trauma-sensitive city” Interactive - learning seminar

The Health & Well-being committee of the Cork City of Sanctuary Movement in conjunction with Places Of Sanctuary Ireland and supported by HSE Cork & Kerry Community Healthcare - Community Work Department will organise for the first time in Cork an interactive-learning seminar titled:

“Exploring Sanctuary models of practice in mental health services and how this can contribute to Cork becoming a trauma-sensitive city”

On Friday the 21 February 2020 at Millenium Hall at City Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m.

You need to register to this Eventbrite link

The seminar will feature a range of speakers with valuable experience in providing and using mental health services, table discussions & panel discussion and a display of mental health supports in Cork.
It aims to inform and encourage mental health organisations and services working with people affected by trauma, to adopt the Sanctuary principles and framework- model on which the Cork City of Sanctuary movement is based on.
We are looking forward to engaging all interested mental health practitioners, community projects, support organisations, relevant city stakeholders and networking groups and a fair representation of the immigrant community in Cork.
