Dementia Upcoming events

 Alzheimer Café will take place on Thursday the 13th of June in The Carrigaline Family Support Centre from 3pm to 5pm.

 Deirdre Murray, ADPHN will be this month's Guest Speaker. Our topic this month is "Support & Information Sharing with your Local Public Health Nurse"

 

The Ballincollig Alzheimer Café will take place on Thursday the 20^th of June in The Chapel Gate Café in Ballincollig P31XP38, FRO, 4pm to 6pm.

This months Topic is " Support & Information Sharing With Your Local Public Health Nurse " With Guest Speaker Helen Farragher

 

Bessboro Carer Support Meeting will take place on Wednesday the 12th of June  at Bessboro Day Care Centre, Blackrock, T12HF70 from 3pm to 4:30pm.

The Carer's Meeting is a great opportunity to get insight, advice, and meet other Carer's in similar situations as well as gaining some excellent advice from the Dementia Advisor Amy Murphy

Bessboro Tea Day / Social Club  will take place on Saturday the 29^th of June in Bessboro Day Care Centre, Blackrock , T12HF70 from 1pm to 3pm . There will be plenty of Music and Dancing ! So bring your dancing shoes.

Other event that may be of interest

 

On Tuesday 11^th June there will be a launch of a ‘Staying Well’ mental health booklet in the Arches, Mallow. The keynote speaker for this event will be John Lonergan, former governor of Mountjoy Prison. There will be refreshments from 10.30am and the event starts 11am-1pm. Please see attached flyer, all are welcome to this free event
