ADHD Parenting Workshop – 9th June | Mitchelstown Library

 

ADHD Parenting Workshop IS being hosted by Ballyhoura Development, which may be of interest to your members, families, or service users.

This informative and supportive workshop is designed for parents, adults with ADHD, and anyone supporting children or adults with ADHD or suspected ADHD. It aims to increase understanding of ADHD while offering practical, everyday strategies in a welcoming and inclusive space.

About the Workshop

This interactive session will explore:

  • Understanding the ADHD brain
  • Emotional regulation and managing overwhelm
  • Focus, organisation and time management challenges
  • ADHD strengths and positive approaches
  • Practical supports for daily life and wellbeing

The workshop will run for approximately 2 hours, with the final 30 minutes dedicated to tea, coffee and refreshments. This informal time will allow parents and participants to:

  • Meet and connect with others
  • Share experiences and stories
  • Ask questions
  • Seek advice and support from the facilitator
