Clann Credo information seminar on Community Financing in Midleton

Dear all

Community groups may be interested in the following free events.

MY Place Midleton on Tuesday 10th of May from 7.30 – 9.30 pm.

The seminar will provide information for community organisations on all aspects of funding – loans, grants and fundraising.  Speakers will share their expertise in these areas and describe how finance can be used to develop your community project.
The speakers on the evening will include;
Ø  Susan Gallagher Social Finance Executive for Clann Credo in the Southern Region, who will discuss community loan finance and how it can assist communities in getting projects up and running. 
Ø  Nuala O’Connell, Development Officer South & East Cork Area Development (SECAD), will discuss Grant Funding for Community Development. 
Ø  Liz Roche – Fundraising & Philanthropy Advisor, who has extensive knowledge of the fundraising sector will describe some of the fundraising methods available to community organisations who are trying to raise funds and how best to develop your fundraising plan.
Ø  Denis Ring, Chairperson of Midleton My Place will describe the centre’s journey and how it has grown and developed, including the benefits and social impact it has generated for the community.
