COUNTY CORK HISTORIC GRAVEYARD MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS
The Historic Monuments Advisory Committee of Cork County Council are holding workshops in North, East and West Cork on the Care and Maintenance of Historic Graveyards. The workshops are to help interested community groups and individuals on all aspect of care and maintenance of historic graveyards. The workshops will be delivered by two experienced archaeologists. Jacinta Kiely & John Tierney, over a full day. The workshop will entail presentations, discussion and a site visit – suitable clothing is required. The Workshops are to take place in Springfort Hall near Mallow on Saturday 18th ; Skibbereen Monday 20th and Midleton on Tuesday 21st November. All are welcome to attend and it is free of charge. Spaces will be allocated on a first come basis.
