The Festival was a great success in 2017 and this year it is being widened to include the whole of County Cork. While the format will be similar to last year's, Cork Food Policy Group welcome any new ideas for events/activities/workshops. Please see attached information on last year’s festival. Please feel free to share this information with any of your colleagues or contacts that you think may be interested.
We are currently developing a schedule and brochure and this will be available soon. Last year’s brochure is attached, this year’s brochure is expected to be similar If you would like to run an event anywhere in the County on the Saturday, or participate in the Sunday event in Fitzgerald's Park, please express interest by Friday August 17th, email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Keelin Tobin at 087 9850621. Keelin is happy to answer any questions you might have.
We hope that this year's festival will be a unique celebration of the food growing initiatives across Cork. It's been a tough growing season which makes celebrating the harvest even more important.
