A Chara,
The Local Authority Waters Programme is hosting an online Community Information Meeting on Wednesday the 19th August, 7.30pm via Zoom in relation to the Adrigole River. The Adrigole Catchment in West Cork is one of 190 areas prioritised for focused water quality action by the Local Authority Waters programme. We will be visiting the catchment later this summer and will be working with the public, state agency partners and the agricultural, forestry and marine sectors to address water quality issues. Usually we hold face-to-face meetings with the local community to talk about water quality in their catchment and explain our work however to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, this Adrigole Community Information Meeting will need to be held via Zoom.
To register for the Zoom Meeting, visit: https://tinyurl.com/yxbxv5t4 www.watersandcommunities.ie/ or Facebook @LAWPROteam
Alternatively contact Catherine Seale, Community Water Officer (085 8085533 cseale@lawaters.ie) or Maeve Ryan, Catchment Manager (085 8025273 mryan@lawaters.ie) for more information. I have attached a poster which you can share with anyone whom you believe may be interested in attending. All are welcome.
I have also attached a notice to this email and I would be grateful if you could please share it with any group or individual that you believe would be interested in attending. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Le meas,
Catherine Seale-Duggan
