National Bike Week is back for 2020 and Cork Sports Partnership is offering Clubs, Workplaces, Community Groups and Organisations the opportunity to get involved.
National Bike Week is an initiative from the Department of Transport, Sport and Tourism to promote cycling throughout Ireland. It will take place from 19th - 27th September. Cork Bike Week plays an integral part of National Bike Week with 7,841 people taking part across 125 Cork events in 2019.
Cork City Council & Cork County Council have secured funding from the Department of Transport, Sport and Tourism to support a limited number of cycling events during Bike Week 2020. Clubs, Groups, Communities and Schools are invited to apply for funding to organise their own FREE Bike Week event during the week-long event. Funding up to €500 for Club & Community Events is available (This is subject to the amount of applications received)
