Springback: A Playback theatre performance
Playback theatre is a form of improvisation where people in the audience share personal stories that are then "played back" by a team of actors and musicians. The stories can be about the everyday moments of our lives that give us meaning. We aim to create a welcoming space where everyone is heard and community unfolds.
For this performance, we will be exploring the theme of "Spring back" - as we begin to emerge from Covid restrictions, and the winter season, what is returning, what are we leaving behind and what have we learned? Come explore these questions through theatre and personal storytelling with us.
Admission to the workshop is via donation to the Irish Refugee Council. Suggested donation is €10.00, or what you can give. The Irish Refugee Council are supporting those fleeing conflict in the Ukraine, as well as many others whose homes are currently not a safe place.
