Mitchelstown Library is located at Sutton Court, Clonmel Road, Mitchelstown and is staffed by Eileen C, Brenda, and Ed. We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm. You can contact us by calling 025-41939 or by emailing mitchelstown.library@corkcoco.ie

Our stock has now increased to approximately 17,000 items and we offer a range of books for adults and children, including books on tape, CDs and DVDs. The designated areas for children and teenagers are bright and cheerful, and the Local History shelves hold a selection of material about Mitchelstown and by Mitchelstown people.

A bright, comfortable area is provided for our newspaper and magazine readers and both casual and study reading areas are catered for. There is also a public toilet available.

Clubs and Groups

We have many clubs and groups to offer you at Mitchelstown Library for both kids and adults. To enquire about joining any of our groups, just ask a member of staff or contact us with the information above.

Upcoming Events

We have a month-long exhibition running in the library with 'Hester's Quilts'. We are also hosting Millie's Moonlight Adventure Puppet Show on Saturday the 12th of August, a Pokémon Card Swap in the library on Thursday August 17th and a Bilingual Storytelling on Saturday August 19th.
