Cork County Council today welcomed IPB Pride of Place adjudicators John Briggs and Brendan McGrath to County Hall as they commenced a three-day adjudication visit to communities across County Cork. The adjudicators were officially received by the Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr. Bernard Moynihan, Chief Executive Moira Murrell, and Director of Services Nicola Radley before beginning their judging programme.

Over the next three days, the adjudicators will visit five County Cork entries participating in the 2026 IPB Pride of Place Awards. These are:

 

  • Youghal – Monday, 27th July
  • Mallow Search & Rescue – Monday, 27th July
  • Kiskeam Village – Tuesday, 28th July
  • Macroom – Tuesday, 28th July
  • Cnoc Buí, Union Hall – Wednesday, 29th July
