Mitchelstown Community Centre building on track

A great new amenity for everyone in the centre of Mitchelstown in what was formerly known as Forrest Hall is being developed by Mitchelstown Muintir na Tire Community Council.

The Community Council has announced that work is well underway and going to plan with no delays envisaged

You can see that the area out the back is unsightly at this stage. Having a room outside, a valuable outdoor space is critical so when the fundraising begins, remember every cent will go directly into the creation of the best possible spaces within and outside the building.

Updates about who will be using the building and availability of rooms to rent will be published in the coming days.

View upstairs: a fantastic meeting room to the left of the front stairs (there are two concrete stairs in the building; one inside the door and one at the end.) There are beautiful skylights allowing natural light into the building down each stairway thanks to the vision of excellent young local engineer who has dedicated so much time to this project.

More details on this wonderful amenity for all the Community in Mitchelstown can be seen on their Facebook page
