Muintir na Tire Celebrating Age Week from 14th to the 19th of November 2017.
Do you know someone who makes a difference in other people’s lives? If they are 55+, live in East Cork, help others, have overcome adversity or are an unsung hero who always goes that extra mile, please nominate them!
The Muintir na Tire Celebrating Age Week wants to showcase them and what can be achieved in later life.
The Three categories are:
1. Caring Award For someone who looks after another
2. Community An Individual that ‘enhances’ the lives of older people
3. Challenge For the person who has overcome illness or adversity, shown bravery or risen beyond expectations.

The deadline for nominating somebody is now 12th November 2017.
Winners will be announced at the Celebrating Age Afternoon Tea Dance on Sunday 19th November 2017 in Midleton Park Hotel.
