Elizabeth Maddox of Castlemartyr has won the caring Award at the Muintir na Tire East Cork Celebrating Age Awards held in Midleton Park Hotel yesterday.
Liz who is a founding member of The Castlemartyr Family Carers and
Disability Support Group and on a daily
basis she: Cares for her Disabled Husband

Supports all the members of The Castlemartyr Family Carers and
Disability Support Group and Works as Chairperson of the Cork County Council’s Older Peoples Council.
LIZ is totally dedicated to addressing
issues that affect the daily living of the
disabled, the elderly and carers in the East Cork Community.
