Getting Ireland Brexit Ready workshops
The Getting Ireland Brexit Ready public information campaign was launched on Sept 20th last. As part of this campaign public outreach events will be held across Ireland over the coming weeks.
A workshop will be held on Friday October 5th in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Arrival and registration from 9 a.m.
At 9.30 a.m., there will be a Brexit Preparedness Interview with Tánaiste and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Simon Coveney T.D. with local media representatives.
Following this, at approximately 10:10 a.m., a series of workshop sessions will begin, taking place in three locations: Main stage and two adjacent rooms.
Brexit Briefing and Q&A sessions will be given by:
Room 1 (Main stage) - Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation, with relevant agencies and Local Enterprise Offices;
Room 2 – Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, with relevant agencies;
Room 3 – Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, with relevant agencies.
These sessions will then be repeated, in order to allow participants to hear two out of the three presentations over the two workshop sessions.
There will also be a number of information stands present at the venue, where representatives from agencies and stakeholders can engage with participants to discuss their ongoing work.
The workshop sessions will be followed by a Brexit Preparedness interview with a number of local business figures.
The event will then come to a close by approximately 12:30pm.
