Lough Fadda and Ownagappul Streams public meetings

The River Basin Management Plan 2018-2021 has prioritised Areas for Action for detailed assessment by the Local Authority Waters Programme.

Before on-the-ground assessments begin on the Tinneel Stream and Rosscarbery Bay Priority Area for Action and the Lough Fadda/Ownagappul Priority Area for Action 2 public meetings have been scheduled.

Water quality issues have been identified in the Upper Caragh River, Tinneel Stream and Rosscarbery Bay and you are invited to a community meeting to be part of the solution. The meetings will include an overview of why these waterbodies were selected as Priority Areas for Action and will include staff from the Local Authority Waters Programme. This meeting is open to all and will include a Question& Answer session and an opportunity for informal discussion during tea and coffee after the meeting.
