People for Bees: Online Community Group Workshops in Helping Bees in Your Community
This summer Cork County Council are providing online community group training workshops in bee conservation, as part of the Irish Wildlife Trust Project People for Bees. The training will cover topics such as bee habitat creation and bumblebee monitoring and identification. These workshops are open to community groups located in Cork County Council Administrative Area. Workshops are free of charge and will be delivered directly to community groups via online video call. If your community group is interested, please send an expression of interest stating the name and location of your community group to conservation@iwt.ie. These training events are free of charge thanks to support from Cork County Council through its Environment Directorate.
