We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a Mental Health Conference on May 24th, 2023, in Cork. This conference will bring together experts from Shine, the mental health sector, the media and people with lived experience of mental health challenges, to share their knowledge and insights on a range of topics all aimed at raising the voice of lived experience.
This year's conference will feature inspiring keynote speakers, informative panel discussions, and engaging workshops that will explore a wide range of topics, including how to use social media to end mental health stigma, advocating for lasting and effective change in government policies, and think-tank sessions between people with lived experience and members of the media, among others. Our goal is to create a space where participants can gain new knowledge, connect with peers, and leave with practical strategies to have conversations around mental health that will bring positive change in our communities.
