Muintir na Tire, Cork County Council and Cork City Council were thrilled to host the eagerly anticipated Pride in Our Community Awards for 2023. This prestigious event which, was held on October 24th aims to recognize and celebrate the remarkable efforts of voluntary groups that have contributed significantly to enhancing communities within Cork City and County.

This year, over sixty groups made substantial contributions to various community projects in their areas. These projects included community walks and trails, playgrounds, community fields, community centre renovations, monument upgrades, amenity area improvements, river clean-ups, community signage, biodiversity areas, community gardens, allotments, graveyard restoration, floral displays on streetscapes, all-weather facilities, and tree planting initiatives.
The Pride in Our Community Awards for 2023 featured various categories, ensuring that a wide range of community efforts were recognized and celebrated.
