SMALL THINGS LIKE THESE
EXHIBITION OPENING
Cork County Council presents a group exhibition titled Small Things Like These after Claire Keegan’s novel of the same name. The novel is set in the weeks leading up to Christmas in the mid-80s and captures the busyness of the season, the family traditions, and also the complicit silences of a town. The exhibition at LHQ Gallery will take place from December 1st to 22nd, Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm. Please join us for our opening event on Thursday 30th November at 6pm, all are welcome.
This is the first open submission exhibition organised by the LHQ Gallery team and the interest in the call out has been phenomenal. For Small Things Like These, LHQ Gallery are presenting almost 100 works by 85 artists, craftspeople and designers that are relatively small in scale.

Many of the works are for sale and offer an opportunity to buy an artwork this Christmas. LHQ Gallery takes no commission on sales and any inquiries for sales will be directed to the artist by the Arts Office.
