Little Things Workshop – Supporting Wellbeing in Our Community
Community health workers Jacinta McCormack & Lorna Hurley invite you to join them on Wednesday, 10th September, from 10:30am to 1:00pm at The Hub Fermoy for their Little Things Workshop. This workshop is held in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day and aims to “Change the Narrative” by encouraging positive, everyday actions—the little things—that support mental health within our community.
The workshop will focus on connection, conversation, and sharing simple, practical tips to nurture mental health and wellbeing. Participants can expect a safe and welcoming environment, an uplifting Little Bag of Hope activity, and mindful practices designed to bring about calm and focus.
Additionally, there will be information on local support services and 24/7 helplines, so people can leave knowing where to turn if they or someone they care about ever needs help.
The event is open to anyone aged 18 and over, and a small donation of €5 towards The Hub Fermoy is encouraged.
Booking is essential as places are limited. To reserve a spot, contact: Jacinta McCormack – 085 874 2320 or Lorna Hurley – 086 440 4050.
