Cork County Community Groups Invited to Apply for Local Enhancement Programme 2026

Cork County Council is extending the closing date for applications from community and voluntary groups for funding under the new Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) Fund 2026. The scheme follows on from the very successful 2025 programme which supported over 243 groups in Cork County.
Funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, the LEP allocation of €277,633 for County Cork will support groups, particularly in disadvantaged areas, and will support capital projects only, and will be used towards carrying out necessary repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficiency type projects, purchase of equipment etc.
The closing date for applications has been extended to Friday 27th February 2026 at 3:00pm. Applications can be made online through the Council’s website www.corkcoco.ie .
