In light of the recent Government announcement.We will continue to ensure The Everyman’s productions will reach you, our audiences, throughout Level 3 restrictions, even though we cannot welcome you into our beloved theatre.
We are delighted to be able to present to you, as part of our Play It by Ear programme, a series of live audio broadcasts: Marion, by Katie Holly (15 Oct); The Whiteheaded Boy, by Lennox Robinson (17 Oct) and Tom Crean, written and performed by Aidan Dooley (24 Oct).
Majella Cullagh with John O'Brien and In One Eye Out the Other, written and performed by Tadhg Hickey, have both been rescheduled to November dates. Play it by Ear will ensure the continuing support of the artistic community and enable audiences to engage with theatrical experiences delivered by The Everyman. Due to current Level 3 restrictions, 'Marion' will be available via live audio broadcast only. A rehearsed reading of the brilliantly funny Marion, with Laura O'Mahony, Tadhg Hickey and Katie Holly, and directed by Eadaoin O'Donoghue. Twentysomething Marion has just realised, all of a sudden, that she’s a grown-up; in love, life, the 12 pubs of Christmas, not forgetting the on-going stream of ‘advice’ in her head from well-meaning friends and family. Sit back and expect a riot of laughs. |

Directed by Ger FitzGibbon Due to current Level 3 restrictions 'The Whiteheaded Boy' will be available via live audio broadcast only. A rehearsed reading of the joyous comedy The Whiteheaded Boy. Denis is the apple of his mother’s eye and the envy of his siblings. Therefore, his inevitable fall from grace is particularly spectacular. Full of twists, turns and hijinks! Cork playwright Lennox Robinson (1886-1958) wrote The Whiteheaded Boy in 1915. It opened to rave reviews in 1916 and is frequently called Lennox’s masterpiece. |

Written and Performed by Aidan Dooley Live Event Cancelled. 'Tom Crean - Antarctic Explorer' will be available via exclusive live audio broadcast. Tom Crean (1877-1938) the intrepid Antarctic explorer who hailed from Annascaul, county Kerry is brought to life in a compelling and humorous solo performance. This gripping one-man show will transport audiences to Crean’s Antarctic, to relive his exploits. |

Written by Ger FitzGibbon Under the Four-Faced Liar it is 3 am... Under the direction of Emelie FitzGibbon, and using the voices of six of our finest actors, the rehearsed reading of The Four Faced Liar will make you look again at this quirky city and some of its inhabitants. |
