Cork City groups cant wait for Pride in Our Community Awards

 There is  great excitement in Cork City as residents, Community Groups and Tidy Towns Groups look forward to the Pride in our Community Awards on Wednesday October 27th. During the summer, despite restrictions, volunteers have been busy working on their projects and ensuring their towns and villages looked great. The Pride in Our Community awards are organised by Cork County Muintir na Tire in Conjunction with Cork County Council Environment Directorate. This year is the first time that City groups have entered the competition. The competition is now supported by  the Sports & Sustainability, Community, Culture & Placemaking Directorate Cork City Council

Ballincollig Tidy Towns project is a pollinator corridor to encourage bees throughout Ballincollig





Sallybrook village Tidy Towns Group project is Remembrance Bench dedicated to a valued member of our Tidy Towns Team



Kilcully and Ballincrokig Residents Committee project is to decorate and enhance local area with floral arrangements

                                     



Baile Roisin/Riverstown Tidy Towns project is repair of Two Stone Planters, clearing, cleaning, washing down, de-weeding entire half moon shape Slabbed patio site area
