Hello everyone,
It’s hard to believe it’s August already! This month we have a variety of events – something to interest everyone!
- Norah Conway from the Health Age Friendly Homes Programme will give a talk in Fermoy Library on Thursday 8th August at 11:30am. Information on supporting older people to live in their own home with dignity and independence for as long as possible is the focus of this talk. She will discuss how to live independently for longer, link you with local support networks and services and give advice on available grants for adapting your home. All welcome. No booking required.
- Graffitti Theatre Company presents “Goodnight Rowan” – Puppet Show on Saturday 17th August at 2pm. Rowan is staying with his nan but can’t sleep. This cosy puppet encounter gently deals with the topic of wellbeing and sharing our worries with someone we trust. Ages 4yrs – 7yrs. Booking essential.
- Family History Talk on Tuesday 20th August at 3pm – Are you interested in tracing your family tree? Staff from the Local Studies Library will be in the library on Tuesday 20th August at 3pm to explain how you might begin your family history journey. All welcome. No booking required.
Remember, all Library Events are free of charge.
Wishing you all a lovely bank holiday weekend.
Kind regards,
Lynda
