Sanctuary Runners is a solidarity through sport initiative which uses running, jogging and walking to bring communities together, in particular people seeking international protection, migrants and Irish people. We have 40 groups around the country including one here in Mallow.
As more people move to Mallow, we want to get the message out that Sanctuary Runners is a welcoming group, a great way to make new friends in the area as well getting out to run or walk in the fresh air. Our group is open to all abilities. We run and walk with parkrun each Saturday morning at 9.30am.
