Just a quick update on upcoming events here in Fermoy Library..
Puppet Show: Graffiti Theatre Company will present “Goodnight Rowan” on Saturday 17th August at 2pm. Rowan is staying with his nan but can’t sleep. This cosy puppet encounter gently deals with the topic of wellbeing and sharing our worries with someone we trust. Ages 4yrs – 7yrs. Free event, contact us to book.
To celebrate National Heritage Week 2024 we have two exciting events!
Family History Talk on Tuesday 20th August at 3pm – Are you interested in family history or tracing your family tree? To celebrate Heritage Week, staff from the Local Studies Library will give a talk on family history and how you might begin your family history journey. All welcome. No booking required.
Old Sayings & Old Times Revisited Join us to celebrate National Heritage Week 2024. An interactive hour of memories, stories, “ceoil & caint” - Wednesday 21st August at 2pm. Come along and learn about Ireland of Old! Free event – all welcome!
Saturday Lego Clubs: Do your children enjoy building Lego? Why not bring them to one of our Lego Clubs and let them get creative? Saturday Lego Sessions from 11am – 12noon & 12:30pm - 1:30pm. Advance booking required.
My Open Library: Would you like to avail of extended library opening hours? My Open Library offers extended opening hours to library members on a self-service basis outside of normal opening hours, seven days per week. Contact us for more information.
