Autism-Friendly Summer Arts & Crafts for Children

 

• Summer Arts & Crafts Drop-in Session for Children - Friday 22nd August from 10am - 12pm (or until materials run out). Fun morning of arts & crafts. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No booking required, just drop in.

• Online Library Resources Session – Wednesday 27th August from 12pm - 1pm. Drop in during this time to receive one-to-one help with using any of the free online resources provided by Cork County Council Library Service. No booking required.

• Match Attax Card Swap - Saturday 30th August from 3pm - 4pm. For children only.
• Understanding Dyslexia Talk – Thursday 21st August at 2pm. Úna from Blosson4Life will be giving a talk about dyslexia. This is a free talk aimed at parents, students and teachers. Places are limited and booking is essential, please email una@blossom4life.com
• Dress-up Storytime
• Friday 22nd August at 3.30pm. Join us for fairytale storytime and colouring. Fancy dress welcome.
• Scrappy Stitch Workshop – Saturday 16th August at 11am. Join Sarah for this fun crafting workshop to celebrate Cork Craft Month. Suitable for ages 8 - 12 years, booking is essential as places are limited. Call 025-31318 to book today.
• Summer Stars Colouring Competition. Suitable for children aged 3 - 12 years. The theme is ‘Draw a character from your favourite story’. Closing date is Tuesday 19th August.
• The Trunk of Tricks Puppet Show – Tuesday 12th August at 11am and 2pm. Come and be transported to an ancient land of Maharaja’s horse riders and more. A feast of traditional Indian string puppetry, magic and storytelling.
• Cork Volunteer Open Information Session – Thursday 21st August at 1pm. This session will provide information about local volunteer opportunities.

• Trad and Bach Lunchtime Concert – Saturday 23rd August at 1pm. All are welcome.
• Summer Stars Party – Saturday 30th August. Join in on the fun at our Summer Stars party and collect your completion certificate.
