CanTalk is a cancer support service offered free of charge to any adult affected by cancer in any way, it has been running in Mallow since 2015. Due to public demand, CanTalk will start service in Fermoy from mid-March 2020. They are currently looking for volunteers to train with CanTalk as group facilitators. Training will take place on 4 consecutive Thursday evenings, 7pm to 9pm from mid Feb and then open to the public as service from mid-March. You will be trained and supported in this important and rewarding role and without volunteers our service couldn't operate. If you are interested in this role and can offer about 4 hours per month CanTalk would love to hear from you. We would like to have a team in place to begin training so CanTalk are looking for interested volunteers now.
