Planning a home clear-out, renovation or DIY project? The MyWaste ‘Think Before You Skip It’ campaign encourages us all to stop and consider whether materials can be reused, repurposed or recycled before putting them in a skip.
From timber and doors to flooring, cabinets and other renovation materials, making better use of what we already have can help reduce waste, keep valuable materials in use for longer and support Ireland’s circular economy. The campaign also provides practical guidance on separating waste correctly so that materials which cannot be reused have the best opportunity to be recycled or appropriately treated.
Before you throw it away, think: could it be reused, repaired, repurposed or recycled?
