Imokilly Jamboree a Huge success

There was a huge turnout for the Annual Imokilly (East Cork) Jamboree for the elderly held in the newly refurbished Midleton Park Hotel on Sunday 23rd November. The evening began with a Liturgical Service celebrated by Fr. Jim Greene newly appointed CC in Carrigtwohil. The touching service which celebrated the lives of the older person was accompanied by that beautiful local soloist Carol Keniry. Mr Sean Murphy welcomed everyone especially those who come year after year. MC for the evening was Finbarr Motherway of Killeagh. Music was provided by the ever popular John White and guests included long time supporters County Councillor Noel Collins and David Stanton TD. There were plenty of spots and singing and dancing continued late into the night. Thanks to Annette Lane, Finbarr Motherway, Patricia Kirby and Fachtna and Catherine White and the management and staff of Midleton Park Hotel for ensuring the night went off so well.
