Clonakilty Wellness Week


~ Now in it's 4th Year ~

During the first week of MAY (2nd - 6th) we will offer a wide range of events. The Committee is a group of volunteers, supported by the HSE. Bringing you our 2017 Wellness Week. 
Our theme this year is
Resilience.

Offering opportunities to explore new ideas and connect with people in the community.

Events include:
TAI CHI, Meditation, Recovery Stories, Music, Creative Arts, Knit, Stitch & Bi*ch, Resilience Group, Choir...

THURSDAY 4th MAY - A FREE GIG - FIG & OLIVE, Clonakilty, 7:30pm
LOST GECKO featuring STANLEY NOTTE, CLADDAGH ROGUES, MIDE HOULIHAN

FRIDAY 5TH MAY - FREE WORKSHOP - NATIONAL LEARNING NETWORK, CLONAKILTY, 10AM - 4:30PM
Katie Mottram, founder of the International Spiritual Emergence Network will provide an opportunity to explore emotional distress from a spiritual perspective. A showing of the film "CRAZYWISE" looks at the many different ways that other cultures and indigenous communities view emotional distress. Crazy...or Wise?

SATURDAY 6TH MAY - PLAYBACK THEATRE - PAROCHIAL HALL - 3PM-4:30PM
'PLAYBACK THEATRE' is an original and innovative form of improvisational theatre in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot. The theme will be Resilience in our community.
Facilitated by Liz Egan and her colleagues.
