Durrus & District Community Council in West Cork is conserving our village’s five traditional water pumps.
The pumps were manufactured by the Scottish company Glenfield & Kennedy Ltd, Kilmarnock.
Can you help us to find a replacement cap for one of our much-loved pumps?
The photos above show the pump that is missing a cap, and the cap on a similar pump. Its diameter is about 32cm.
