New Issue of the Walled Town Crier ITWN Ezine out now

The Irish Walled Towns Network (IWTN) has a membership of over two dozen towns  throughout the island of Ireland (North, South, East and West) and includes 4 towns in Cork. Three of these are in Cork County – Bandon, Buttevant and Youghal – and Cork City is also part of the Network. The Irish Walled Towns Network over the last number of years has supported a range of different projects and undertakings, including here in the County of Cork. To further promote the work of the ITWN, an Ezine, which is called the Walled Town Crier, is being released every two months with the first publication having issued just prior to Christmas 2020. The second Edition has just been published and is available to read online or download by clicking here . The magazine features articles on early buildings in our towns, a feature on Athlone, virtual festivals and information about the IWTN workshop and AGM. The magazine also has tips about grant applications as the IWTN Grants Programme 2021 is now open. The closing date is Wednesday 31st March at 5 pm.
