Mitchelstown Forum

Mitchelstown Forum are calling on the people of Mitchelstown to come have their say on how to keep our community a healthy place to live, work, and play. 



Under the project to date the community wanted to see the development of a community allotment and a safe walking group which we delivered, we now need your view on what is next for the healthy town project. Our overall aim is to become a pilot project with Cork County to become the first healthy town in the region. Cork Mobility Forum are looking at a bike scheme for the community and need to hear your views. So many factors can affect our health, our housing, our wellbeing, our connections in our community, our education, supports for our young people and lifestyle factors to name a few.   
On the night the following agencies will be available Niall O’Callaghan Cork County Council- Cork Healthy County, Transport Mobility Forum, Edel O’Donnell
HSE Health Promotion, HSE Community Work Department and Cork Environmental Forum.
